A Brief Autobiography of a Seeker of the Truth, Who Found It, Anonymous

When I was about 18 years old, I began to realize that I was a passenger on this planet, and whatever awaited this planet in general would necessarily affect me in particular. The more that I become aware of the short and long term factors of a global magnitude, the less comfortable I felt about the inevitable consequences for the future of our planet. Motivated by these conclusions, I determined to find out why events were headed in such a direction. There had to be a logical reason for what I observed; it could not be the result of random, mindless chaos.

In my pursuit of an answer I sharpened my natural abilities, studied a broad range of educational curriculum, and simultaneously investigated some esoteric (but established) sources of knowledge. My thought was that in separating the wheat from the chaff by using the filter of empirical knowledge, I would be able to find a common thread of correlation between the arcane and the mundane. I did!

The truth, however, did not lie within the objective realm of knowledge. Objective knowledge could only cut through individual prejudice and point the way to the truth: If you were God, what could you possibly want? You would want someone who loved you because they chose to, not because they had to. But this is still not possible if only God is God. God had to become a man, and then make all of this perfect, loving, wonderful, divine human person available to us. He did and He has! God is love: we cannot analyze Him, but we can receive this marvelous Savior Jesus into the very center of our being. At this point in my realization I opened up inside to be real with God.

But it is still not possible for any individual Christian to express all that God is. A Christian must meet and be built up with others. How can Christians meet in genuine one accord and receive all whom the Lord has received? I prayed for help on this and the very next day met a brother who was meeting with the local church in such a way. My word cannot express the riches available through participating in the fullness of Christ, the church, His Body. Ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find (Luke 11:9). The Lord will personally show you in your spirit what I can only express in poor words.
